Skelcore is committed to making this site usable by as many people as possible, including people who navigate with a screen reader, a keyboard alone, screen magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology.

The standard we work to

We work to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We are not claiming full conformance today. We audit this site against that standard, fix what we find, and treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-time task.

What we have done

• Descriptive alternative text on every image, so screen reader users get the same information sighted visitors do.
• Every form field is programmatically labelled, including the quote request and contact forms.
• A clearly visible focus indicator on every link, button and field, so keyboard users can always see where they are.
• A "skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
• Page regions marked up as navigation, main content and footer, so assistive technology can jump between them.
• Text colour contrast checked against the 4.5:1 minimum for body text and 3:1 for large text.
• A single, correctly ordered page heading structure so the page can be navigated by headings.

Known limitations

Some third-party components embedded in this site are not fully under our control and may not yet meet the same standard. This includes our messaging widget. We are reviewing these and will replace or remediate anything that creates a barrier.
