Delivery and freight

Skelcore equipment is heavy, palletised and shipped by freight. Delivery is quoted per project rather than priced at checkout, because cost and method depend on what you are ordering, where it is going, and what access the site has.

How delivery is arranged

Freight is quoted with your equipment. Your written quotation sets out the delivery method, the estimated lead time, the delivery terms, and what is and is not included. Please read it alongside this page — where the two differ, your quotation applies.

What affects lead time

• Whether items are in stock or built to order.
• Custom finishes, branded plates, upholstery colours and logo work.
• Order size — a full floor is scheduled differently from a single machine.
• Destination, port of entry and customs clearance on international orders.

We confirm the expected window in writing when your order is acknowledged, and tell you if it changes.

Site access

Freight delivery is normally kerbside. Before we ship, tell us if your site has restricted access, no loading dock, stairs, lift limits, narrow corridors, or delivery time windows. Getting this right in advance avoids failed deliveries and redelivery charges.

Ask us about inside delivery, placement and installation. We complete full installations and can quote for them.

Receiving your delivery

Please inspect every shipment before you sign for it.

• Check the piece count against the delivery paperwork.
• Look for crushed corners, torn shrink wrap, punctures and shifted loads.
• Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt before signing. A clear signature makes a freight claim very difficult to win.
• Photograph anything that looks wrong, ideally before the pallet is broken down.
• Tell us within 48 hours of delivery so we can act while the claim window is open.

International orders

We ship worldwide and supply through distributors in a number of markets. For international orders, duties, taxes, customs clearance and any local delivery charges are set out in your quotation. If a Skelcore distributor covers your region, we will usually connect you with them — you can find your distributor here.
