Safety
Strength and conditioning equipment carries inherent risk of serious injury. This notice sets out the responsibilities that come with owning and operating Skelcore equipment. It does not replace the safety documentation supplied with your equipment.
Every piece of Skelcore equipment ships with assembly, operating and maintenance instructions, and carries warning labels. Read them before assembly and keep them accessible. Replacements are available in our Technical Library or on request.
Equipment must be assembled exactly as specified, on a level and structurally adequate floor, with the clearances shown in the documentation. Racks, platforms and any equipment specified for anchoring must be anchored as instructed. Incorrect assembly or anchoring is dangerous and voids warranty.
If you would like us to handle it, we complete full installations and can quote for the work.
Commercial equipment is used constantly and wears. The operator is responsible for a regular inspection and maintenance routine covering at least:
Remove any item from service immediately if it is damaged, worn, incomplete or behaving abnormally, and do not return it to use until it has been repaired correctly with the right parts.
Operators of gyms and training facilities are responsible for supervising use, instructing users on correct technique, restricting access where appropriate, and advising users to seek medical clearance before beginning a training programme.
Do not modify Skelcore equipment, exceed its rated load, use it for anything other than its intended purpose, or fit non-Skelcore replacement parts. Any of these makes the equipment unsafe, voids warranty, and transfers responsibility for the outcome to whoever made the change.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skelcore is not liable for injury, loss or damage resulting from incorrect assembly, inadequate anchoring, failure to inspect or maintain, misuse, modification, unsupervised use, or use of equipment that has been withdrawn from service or flagged as faulty. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing here limits the warranty supplied with your equipment.
