Hex Bar

The Hex Bar surrounds the lifter with the load. Standing inside its hexagonal frame with neutral-grip handles at each side shifts the line of pull to the lifter's centre, which most coaches use to teach deadlifting with less demand on the lower back and to load carries and shrugs heavily but simply.

The bar weighs 22 kg and is sold as a single piece, with plate sleeves at each end accepting Olympic plates. Knurled handles keep grip secure through heavy pulls.
